There are thermoplastic hoses for many specialist areas of industry and the demands of high performance applications. The system designer might require microbore hoses for a miniaturised application or for longer length test lines. Or there might be a need for especially tough duty hoses in applications such as rescue equipment or bolt tensioners.
Then there are the needs for non conductive hoses around high voltage equipment, hoses with special covering to resist the damage from hot sparks and welding splatter on robots and other manufacturing processes. There are also specific hoses for use where flexibility needs to be retained across rapid temperature changes such as on fork lift trucks working in and out of cold storage units.
